Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition and martial art that has evolved into a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of gentle movements performed in a slow, focused manner accompanied by deep breathing. Tai Chi practice integrates mind, body and spirit, and has been found to be highly beneficial for stress reduction, improved balance and posture, lowering blood pressure, and a variety of other significant health factors.
In this introductory session, we will learn some of the basics of Yang style "short form" in group settings, led by Mitch Williams.
All levels. Beginners welcome.
