In this class, we’ll use Ayurveda techniques to cleanse the physical, subtle, and mental/emotional bodies through massage, yoga poses, breath work, and meditation. Energy work will be incorporated throughout the class to relieve the subtle, mental, and emotional bodies of distractions and other debris. Terri will also include discussion of other simple and effective ways to support the body’s natural detox processes and considerations for reducing exposure to toxins throughout our day. You will leave relaxed and ready for a good night’s sleep. This work can be done sitting in a chair or on a yoga mat (both provided). Do your best to avoid restrictive clothing, drink plenty of water, and avoid heavy foods, alcohol, and tobacco for at least 24 hours prior to class. You will receive the greatest benefit if you come with an empty stomach, having your last meal of the day around 4 or 5 o’clock.
Advanced registration is optional, but will guarantee that a yoga mat or a chair is available for you.
